According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2002:

  1. California: 20,000
  2. Florida: 19,300
  3. Texas: 19,000

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2002:

  1. Utah: -3,000
  2. Vermont: -900
  3. Alaska: 100
