According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2002:

  1. New York: 29,200
  2. Ohio: 24,100
  3. Pennsylvania: 23,200

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2002:

  1. Colorado: -4,900
  2. Florida: -3,300
  3. Utah: -3,100
