According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2003:

  1. Florida: 13,000
  2. Colorado: 11,800
  3. California: 9,900

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2003:

  1. Massachusetts: -4,200
  2. Missouri: -3,500
  3. South Carolina: -2,700
