According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2003:

  1. New York: 14,400
  2. New Jersey: 12,000
  3. Maine: 9,700

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2003:

  1. Florida: -13,700
  2. Texas: -8,000
  3. Arizona: -4,900
