According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2003:

  1. New York: 30,900
  2. Pennsylvania: 25,900
  3. Michigan: 25,200

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2003:

  1. Florida: -5,200
  2. Colorado: -4,600
  3. Utah: -1,700
