According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2005:
- Colorado: 13,900
- California: 12,100
- Florida: 10,100
On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2005:
- Mississippi: -8,400
- South Carolina: -6,100
- Ohio: -5,000
