According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2006:

  1. New York: 33,600
  2. Pennsylvania: 21,900
  3. Ohio: 21,000

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2006:

  1. Florida: -4,300
  2. Colorado: -2,700
  3. Utah: -2,100
