According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2007:
- New York: 35,600
- Michigan: 24,300
- Ohio: 23,500
On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2007:
- Florida: -5,300
- Colorado: -3,500
- Arizona: -200
