  1. Oklahoma: 500
  2. Hawaii: -900
  3. North Dakota: -900

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in January, 2008:

  1. California: -41,800
  2. New York: -38,400
  3. Ohio: -21,300
