According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2008:

  1. New York: 20,700
  2. New Jersey: 19,500
  3. California: 16,900

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2008:

  1. Florida: -11,400
  2. Arizona: -4,800
  3. Georgia: -2,100
