According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2009:
- Florida: 14,700
- New York: 3,800
- Arizona: 3,700
On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2009:
- Illinois: -2,100
- Minnesota: -1,800
- Nevada: -1,700
