According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2009:

  1. New York: 12,300
  2. Maine: 9,900
  3. Massachusetts: 6,700

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2009:

  1. Florida: -20,700
  2. Arizona: -6,800
  3. Missouri: -4,700
