According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2012:
- Colorado: 10,300
- Florida: 6,600
- New York: 5,700
On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2012:
- North Carolina: -3,400
- Kentucky: -3,100
- Massachusetts: -2,900
