According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2012:
- New York: 38,500
- Ohio: 23,500
- California: 23,100
On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2012:
- Florida: -8,300
- Colorado: -5,200
- Arizona: -800
