According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2017:
- California: 26,000
- Florida: 22,800
- Illinois: 12,500

- North Dakota: 400
- New Hampshire: 400
- Alaska: 800
