According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2018:
- Arizona: 4,000
- Illinois: 3,100
- Florida: 2,700
On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2018:
- New York: -5,800
- Maryland: -2,100
- Connecticut: -2,100
