According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2019:

  1. Arizona: 5,800
  2. Louisiana: 2,500
  3. Minnesota: 2,100

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2019:

  1. New York: -7,000
  2. California: -5,100
  3. Connecticut: -3,600
