According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2020:
- New York: 38,800
- New Jersey: 16,300
- Massachusetts: 14,800
On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2020:
- California: -13,300
- New Mexico: -2,500
- Florida: -700
