According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Local Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2015:
- Hawaii: 300
- Delaware: -1,400
- Florida: -2,300
On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Local Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2015:
- California: -141,200
- North Carolina: -74,500
- Missouri: -40,700
