According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Local Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2015:
- New Jersey: 5,000
- Minnesota: 4,400
- Massachusetts: 3,000
On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Local Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2015:
- Florida: -81,000
- Arizona: -38,200
- North Carolina: -25,300
