According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Local Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2020:
- Minnesota: 8,400
- Connecticut: 5,100
- Michigan: 1,700
On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Local Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2020:
- Florida: -61,900
- Arizona: -37,600
- North Carolina: -22,500
