According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Local Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2020:

  1. California: 17,800
  2. New York: 15,200
  3. Ohio: 14,500

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Local Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2020:

  1. Hawaii: 100
  2. Delaware: 400
  3. New Hampshire: 700
