According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2003:

  1. Alaska: 3,100
  2. Georgia: 1,700
  3. Kansas: 1,100

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2003:

  1. Pennsylvania: -7,600
  2. Wisconsin: -4,400
  3. Ohio: -4,100
