According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2005:

  1. Texas: 4,000
  2. Florida: 2,400
  3. Arizona: 2,000

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2005:

  1. Tennessee: -3,100
  2. Michigan: -2,400
  3. Minnesota: -2,000
