According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in November, 2005:

  1. Texas: 4,700
  2. Michigan: 3,300
  3. Georgia: 2,800

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in November, 2005:

  1. California: -8,600
  2. Oregon: -2,200
  3. Alaska: -2,100
