According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2006:

  1. California: 10,100
  2. Texas: 3,700
  3. Washington: 2,100

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2006:

  1. Wisconsin: -2,500
  2. Minnesota: -2,200
  3. Pennsylvania: -1,800
