According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in November, 2006:

  1. Michigan: 5,300
  2. Texas: 2,800
  3. Missouri: 1,500

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in November, 2006:

  1. California: -10,800
  2. Minnesota: -4,200
  3. Georgia: -3,700
