According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2007:

  1. Michigan: 13,800
  2. California: 6,600
  3. Missouri: 2,300

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2007:

  1. Illinois: -1,700
  2. Minnesota: -1,400
  3. New York: -1,100
