According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in November, 2007:

  1. Michigan: 8,800
  2. Kentucky: 4,200
  3. Illinois: 2,700

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in November, 2007:

  1. California: -10,600
  2. Alaska: -2,000
  3. Minnesota: -1,700
