According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2010:

  1. California: 7,000
  2. Michigan: 5,900
  3. Ohio: 5,800

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2010:

  1. Alaska: -700
  2. Delaware: -200
  3. District of Columbia: 0
