According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2011:

  1. Indiana: 4,400
  2. California: 4,200
  3. Ohio: 3,200

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2011:

  1. District of Columbia: 100
  2. Montana: 100
