According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2012:

  1. California: 4,400
  2. Ohio: 3,300
  3. Indiana: 2,800

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2012:

  1. Maryland: -1,200
  2. Kentucky: -1,200
  3. Minnesota: -500
