According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2012:

  1. California: 5,400
  2. Ohio: 4,100
  3. Michigan: 3,300

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2012:

  1. Connecticut: -400
