According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2013:

  1. California: 9,200
  2. Alaska: 7,300
  3. Georgia: 600

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2013:

  1. Michigan: -10,700
  2. Ohio: -5,500
  3. Indiana: -4,800
