According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2014:

  1. Ohio: 2,700
  2. Minnesota: 2,400
  3. New Jersey: 2,100

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2014:

  1. California: -700
  2. Illinois: -400
  3. Arizona: -400
