According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2015:

  1. Georgia: 2,000
  2. North Carolina: 1,700
  3. Ohio: 1,500

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2015:

  1. Minnesota: -1,200
  2. Alaska: -1,200
  3. Louisiana: -700
