According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2015:

  1. California: 14,200
  2. Alaska: 8,500
  3. Minnesota: 1,300

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2015:

  1. Michigan: -3,900
  2. Kentucky: -3,700
  3. Ohio: -3,600
