According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2016:

  1. Michigan: 7,000
  2. California: 3,000
  3. Georgia: 1,200

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2016:

  1. New York: -1,300
  2. Oklahoma: -1,200
  3. Alaska: -1,200
