According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2016:

  1. Indiana: 3,100
  2. Georgia: 1,900
  3. Arizona: 1,800

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2016:

  1. Minnesota: -1,400
  2. Michigan: -1,100
  3. Alaska: -1,100
