According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2016:

  1. California: 5,000
  2. Alaska: 2,000
  3. Florida: 1,800

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2016:

  1. Michigan: -1,200
  2. Massachusetts: -1,200
  3. Iowa: -700
