According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2016:

  1. Florida: 1,700
  2. New York: 1,200
  3. New Jersey: 1,100

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2016:

  1. Oklahoma: -1,600
  2. Michigan: -1,100
  3. Louisiana: -800
