According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in November, 2016:

  1. Michigan: 6,800
  2. North Carolina: 2,100
  3. Florida: 2,000

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in November, 2016:

  1. California: -4,900
  2. Alaska: -2,600
  3. New York: -1,700
