According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2017:

  1. California: 3,200
  2. Alaska: 3,100
  3. Florida: 2,600

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2017:

  1. Ohio: -2,000
  2. Illinois: -1,700
  3. Massachusetts: -500
