According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2017:

  1. Florida: 6,600
  2. Ohio: 5,400
  3. Michigan: 1,700

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2017:

  1. California: -7,400
  2. Alaska: -3,400
  3. Missouri: -3,100
