According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in November, 2018:

  1. Ohio: 2,900
  2. Illinois: 2,400
  3. Michigan: 2,000

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in November, 2018:

  1. California: -6,900
  2. Alaska: -2,700
  3. New York: -400
