According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2018:

  1. Georgia: 800
  2. Nevada: 800
  3. Oklahoma: 500

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2018:

  1. Alaska: -5,900
  2. Ohio: -3,400
  3. Minnesota: -2,700
