According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2019:

  1. Kansas: 1,000
  2. Missouri: 900
  3. Maryland: 800

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2019:

  1. Indiana: -3,700
  2. Michigan: -3,000
  3. California: -1,500
