According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2019:

  1. Indiana: 1,600
  2. Georgia: 1,400
  3. Florida: 1,300

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2019:

  1. New York: -1,300
  2. Alaska: -1,000
  3. Minnesota: -700
