According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2020:

  1. Indiana: 6,000
  2. Ohio: 6,000
  3. Illinois: 4,100

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2020:

  1. Alaska: -900
  2. New Mexico: -300
  3. Minnesota: -300
