According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2020:

  1. Maine: 4,200
  2. Georgia: 2,200
  3. North Carolina: 2,000

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2020:

  1. Alaska: -3,700
  2. Minnesota: -2,000
  3. Michigan: -1,400
